Location: - GEB Surface Treatments Ltd, Wharf Road, Industrial Estate, Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, NG16 6LE

Job type: Full Time/Permanent

Salary: £14.21 ph

Hours per week: 40 hours (30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Start & finish times: Monday - Thursday - 07:30 - 14:30
                                   Friday - 07:30 - 14:00

Role Purpose & Key Accountabilites 

  • Unpacking and inspecting components.
  • Jigging and de-jigging of components.
  • Document control
  • Masking and Demasking
  • Component Identification
  • Training to blast components
  • Training towards becoming a 1st off inspector, CEO and final inspector.
  • Training towards quality checks on all processed components using measuring equipment defined against the specific process, to ensure the part is produced to specification.
  • Work to achieve set production times and targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments in order to support Customer and Company targets, objectives and goals.
  • Carrying out activities in order to facilitate principles of Continuous Improvement throughout the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policy and legislative requirements.
Any other duties that may reasonably be required by the company from time to time.

Role Requirements:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, with guidance and supervision
